Thx to you Sydney does sounds a lot more interesting! Singapur is a typical stopover and most people who've been there tell me: "48 hours really is enough in Singapore". If possible, we'll do Sydney first and then head to NZ.

The 35mm f/1.4L VCM (or Rainbow Rattler) has issues with longitudinal CA, so I\'ll keep my EF 35mm f/1.4L II for now. I hope Canon will release an optically uncompromised version for photographers. Nevertheless, a 50mm f/1.4L can only be an improvement over the old EF version.
