-25mm extension tube for a mount
I dont know which looks worse....
fixed focal length (i would guess about 135mm) but the worst part is the fixed FOCUS distance haha. I've heard of zooming with your feet, but what about focusing?
If i had painted the inside flat black instead of being reflective it probably wouldnt have been that bad

I'm sorry I did not specify, I hooked it up to my 60 and shot in manual mode. Only a cheap lens on an expensive body. The EXIF data says 50mm because the chip in the extension tube I used reports at 50mm

Lets say this is a little bit of old and a little bet of new. My A7 II test pictures with Canon FD 35f2 SSC II. Taken yesterday at JSC Rocket Park. I find it remarkable how much this lens picked up on Ebay for $50 performs like a modern lens.

I used to work with a Rolls Royce Aero engine designer, he said before CAD they wouldn't pre draw the pipework but give the roughed up engine to the senior fitters with instructions as to what went where, those fitters then worked out the best way to route all the pipework and their initial pipes were then taken off and drawn up and manufactured.
I always found that interesting.

I guess we should try to stick with Canon equipment here, which limits me somewhat as my old cheap gear consists of lenses which I only use on non-Canon mirrorless bodies, and only one of those lenses is a Canon, an FD 55mm 1.2 which I seldom use because I haven't yet found an adapter I like using it with; and I won't claim that any of these are great, but here are five (I hope their self-explanatory labels will accompany them):

My cheapest old lens is a Vivitar 135mm 2.8, which came with its original leather case, all in excellent condition, for $30. My most expensive is a Minolta 58mm 1.2, which cost rather more than that, but still much less than any current 1.2 lens. Here are two via the former, one via the latter (an unintended grab of an unexpected sunset as I was leaving my apt. a couple of evenings ago). I should probably not add any more non-Canon shots....
