Canon Announces New EOS C400 6K Full-Frame RF Mount Cinema Camera and RF-Mount CINE-SERVO Lens

The 24MP R6 MKII had been compatible with the RF5.2 for over 6 months. No surprise the C400 is compatible with it.
good point...
"The pairing of this lens and the EOS R5 C or EOS R5 camera (firmware 1.5.0+) brings high resolution video recording at up to 8K DCI 60p using the EOS R5 C and 8K DCI 30p using the EOS R5. Using the EOS R6 Mark II (firmware 1.2.0+), users can record up to 4K UHD 60P"

The output would be ~3000 pixels square per side so wouldn't the final video be effectively Full HD with the R6ii whereas the R5 can output 4k?

C70 was a significantly cheaper C300 Mark III in a smaller, more compact body, just 5 months after.
So the only question remains: when we will a C400 converted to that form factor?
They don't even need to change the lens mount :)

(Considering the already aggressive pricing, probably not too soon unfortunately, but I am a little hopeful.)
