"Pfah. Film. What a fad." See here. Film will surely survive any digital retro camera fads - but film isn't for everybody, of course. You cannot chimp, you have to use your imagination (based on experience), plus with vintage cameras you have to work mostly manually, and then you have to wait until you developed it. It is Zen turned into photography, it is like slow food vs fast food. Not for everyone, of course.
