I am big into fisheye. And I own an EF 8-15mm. Wonderfull lens.
But Lens Baby makes (or used to make) a circular fisheye lens. It was for crop lens cameras, and mostly plastic. It was not very sharp. But I did one really cool thing. The inside of the lens barrel was polished. This put a ring around the circular fisheye image that was a very off reflection. If made the corners of the image a little more interesting vs the black corners of the canon lens. Like this:
And the Canon images looked like this:
