Circular Polarizer for snow photography? My 1st time in snow!

Hello people!

I'm preparing my first snow trip, never been in my life before!

So I would like to know if I should use or not a CPL filter?

I was searching for some samples with/without filter but I couldn't find any.

I would seriously consider it - the filter can help tame wild highlights as well as saturate colours which always looks good on snow scenes.

I think it's good to have one, even if you decide it's not what you like. It will slow you down, but taking almost the same photos with the filter at various rotations and without will give you and understanding.

One thing to be aware of is cloudy weather and snow. I don't think the CP will do much but reduce light. You might cut some glare off water, but more likely the water will just get black (which can be a cool effect if you like it for a shot).
