Bent neck-strap lug on 6D, how do I fix it?

I recently got a used 6D and it has a bent neck-strap lug, I'm not sure how the previous owner managed to do this. Does anyone have any ideas on how to bend it back?

Flat head screwdriver, maybe? Bending it back is going to make it weaker, though, so not sure if it's worth the effort.

It's steel. Bend it back with a screwdriver, it'll be fine.

I've tried bending it back with a flathead screwdriver, the screwdrivers that are small enough bend the screwdriver itself and not the neck-strap lug. The middle part sits right on the grip. I think I'll just give up and paint over the bare metal and get a strap that goes on the tripod mount. Other then that the camera was a good deal.
