Active Software Deal: Save big on Topaz Labs PhotoAI, VideoAI & Gigapixel 8 bundle $299 (Reg $597)

Topaz Labs is having their biggest Black Friday deal that I can remember. They are heavily discounting their most popular software, PhotoAI, VideoAI and Gigapixel 8. Even if you own one of these pieces of software, you get big savings on the rest of the software in the bundle offered. “Have it All” Bundle For

Be aware that PhotoAI is still not able to process R5 MkII raw files and save them as DNG files (a bug prevents saving). This is three months after the R5 Mk II started shipping .

I wonder what's taking so long. I really like what they're doing with it and I'm glad it's all offline. Though the install folder is 27.5GB.

I used to be a happy Topaz customer. But Topaz has severe software quality control issues. And they lie to their customers.

In September Topaz told me R5 Mk II raw support was dependent on RawLib support for the R5 Mk II. At the time of that answer RawLib already had support for the R5 Mk II. It took Topaz until mid-November to release 3.3.1 with R5 Mk II support. The bug which prevents saving as DNG file was present before Topaz released 3.3.1. Topaz knowingly releases software that will not work for their customers. And my mailbox is flooded with their “save $ with our continuous upgrade service” e-mails.

Edit: I made a mistake: RawLib should be LibRaw.

I would have to agree. I have been using Topaz since their sharpen and denoise were stand alone applications. I still use the old denoise a lot of the time because it just performs well. December of 2023 they lost their way, they tried to evolve to quickly and quality was no longer a focus. Pump out new functionality as quickly as possible, know that the application is buggy and use their consumer as beta testers. They have also launched new functions which will not operate under their documented minimum requirements.

Just look at their forums, high level of complaints and problems across every application.
