Canon has released new firmware for the Canon EOS-1D X Mark III. This firmware fixes an issue that was present in version 1.7.0. In firmware version 1.7.0, it has been confirmed that the power may not turn on immediately after the update is completed under certain conditions, so we will release a new firmware version

A firmware update to fix an issue introduced by a firmware upgrade. Not good really .
Overall the 1DX III updates have been poor in terms of any real improvements .
