VenusOptics has shown off the FFII T/S 55mm F2.8 and 100mm F2.8 Macro lenses in Bejing. Both lenses will be available for the RF mount as well as the GFX, Z, E, and L mounts.

VenusOptics under the Laowa brand name is starting to make a name for themselves in the realm of tilt and shift. These are impressive-looking lenses and while for live moving subjects, macro without autofocus would be difficult, there’s a ton of macro studio work where the subject matter doesn’t move around, so these lenses could be amazing at a fraction of an OEM’s tilt-shift lens cost. These lenses are also massive, weighing 1.34 and 1.22 kg for the 55mm and 100mm Tilt-Shifts respectively.

As of now, we don’t have any pricing information but expect a formal announcement soon From VenusOptics. Check out VenusOptics‘s website for more information and preorder when they become available. I am led to believe that shipping is fast and reasonable even to the USA from users’ comments in the past.
